Our tungsten carbide is used extensively where long production runs are required in Hardwood, MDF or glue bonded products. Sourced from a leading European manufacturer, it has provided proven results, especially with Australian Hardwoods.

• Extreme hardness minimises wear of knife steel

Classic Range

• Tungsten inlay manufactured from Tungsten Metal Powder because of its hardness and wear resistance characteristics
• Requires Diamond Wheel for grinding
• Jointing using Silicone Carbide Jointing Stones

Platinum Range

The Platinum Range of TCT Planing Knives contain a solid piece of Tungsten Carbide. The molecular properties of Tungsten Carbide remain in its purest form.

• Can be used as a cost-effective alternative to Diamond
• Improved developments during manufacturing process has drastically reduced the brittleness of Tungsten Carbide
• Requires Diamond Wheel for grinding
• Jointing using Silicone Carbide or Diamond Jointing Stones
